Born and raised in Rockwood Ontario, Anna first found her love of horses with their family's shetland pony, Lollipop, followed by her beloved first large mount Piper, and her first FEI horse, Wrazzmatazz. Growing up on a farm, Anna realized from a young age the importance of hard work, dedication, and the significance of the relationship between animals and people. She continues to greatly value these characteristics every day. Being a well rounded person is also important to Anna. Outside of the dressage ring she maintains a 3.4 GPA in her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph, chasing her personal fitness goals, and of course spending lots of time with horses and improving her equine management knowledge while working in the barn.
Anna trains with Ute Busse at Sonnenhof Stables in Breslau, Ontario. Ute has coached Anna from grassroots to the FEI levels. Anna enjoys her full time training regiment and job at the facility owned and run by Ute Busse and her husband, Dieter Busse.
